APPLE TO LAUNCH LEARNING HUB FOR BLACK COLLEGES
Apple will help launch a global innovation and learning hub for historically Black colleges and universities as part of its $100 million Racial Equity and Justice Initiative, the company announced Wednesday. The Propel Center will offer support to students and faculty at HBCUs through virtual platforms, a physical campus at Atlanta University Center, and on-campus activities. Apple will contribute $25 million to the center, which will offer AI and machine learning, app development and augmented reality.
