Then “Barbie,” the pink-powered, super-fun counterpart to the atomic bomb epic. Sure, Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig were snubbed (for best actress and director), but it’s still a must-see up for eight Oscars. Where to watch: On demand and Max

Move along to “Killers of the Flower Moon,” the true-crime period epic with 10 nods. Good news: It’s one of Martin Scorsese’s best. Not-as-great news: It’s (a watchable!) 3½ hours.

Where to watch: Apple TV+

Then “Poor Things,” a fantastical riff on “Frankenstein.” Fair warning: Previous best actress winner Emma Stone, a fave contender for this year's Oscar, has a LOT of sex.

Though you may be into that sort of thing. Where to watch: In theaters

Then “The Holdovers,” a must-see for all 1970s movie lovers and the Paul Giamatti hive. It may not be cool to still have your Christmas tree up, but watching this new holiday classic is allowed. Where to watch: On demand and Peacock

Chase that with “American Fiction,” a crowd-pleasing satire of race and identity. Best actor nominee Jeffrey Wright is in his element as a lovably grumpy writer. Where to watch: In theatres

Then “Anatomy of a Fall,” the courtroom drama that takes a relationship the opposite way. Did Sandra Hüller kill her husband? Stay tuned. Also: an easy winner for best supporting dog. Where to watch: On demand Then “Past Lives,” a romantic drama about reconnecting with loved ones from younger years. Don’t be surprised if you’re texting an old flame afterward. Where to watch: On demand and Paramount+ with Showtime

Go to Netflix for “Maestro,” a biopic about the legendary Leonard Bernstein. You knew Bradley Cooper could sing, now witness him conduct an orchestra like a champ. Where to watch: Netflix

Then “The Zone of Interest,” a Holocaust drama that’s amazing, thought-provoking and absolutely haunting. Just so you know, it is a seriously heavy watch. Where to watch: In theaters

Finally, “Barbie” (again). Because you're definitely going to need that second dose of Kenergy.
