*October 2020: In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness the entire month of October Alley Beans will be offering a special “pink” drink and Wild Prairie Bakery will be featuring daily pink donuts for purchase. Funds collected will be donated to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center Cancer Research Center in Jamestown, ND.
*Volunteers Needed - Dog Park Committee. SVFA has a goal to build a second dog park in Valley City. In the beginning stages and searching for volunteers willing to help find a location, general planning, organizing fundraisers and manual labor. Due to the increase in covid-19 cases masks will be required in the Barnes County Courthouse and other county offices. * Valley City Farmers Market
will be held every Monday and Thursday from 4-6 p.m. at Rosebud Parking Lot (across for the City Park white walkbridge) for the 2020 season. *AA Fellowship Corner Meeting Schedule:

• Monday, October 12th: Valley City Community Closet will be open on October 12th from 5-7 p.m. All are welcome to attend and pick up what you need: winter coats, winter gear, blankets, towels, kitchen items, clothing for all. The closet is located at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church parking lot, 138 3rd St NW, Valley City. In case of weather issues alternative date will be Tuesday, October 13th, 5-7 p.m.
