Jimmie Kiser
Jimmie Duane Kiser, 80, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2020, at the VA Hospital in Fargo, ND, after a short illness.
Jim was born in Valley City, ND, to Orla and Margaret Kiser. He grew up in rural Valley City, attending Green School and graduating from Svea H igh School in 1958. He served in the United States A i r Force until 1964 when he was honorably discharged.
Jim married Janice
Hoiland June 11, 1966, in Hampden, ND. He was a 40 year resident of North River, ND.
Jim is survived by his wife, Jan, daughter Michelle ( Doug) Leier West Fargo, son Todd ( Pam) Kiser Moorhead, and daughter Tracey ( Dan) Gonshorowski Fargo, grandchildren Sam, Alex, Max, Joe, Katie, Anna, Emma and Grace along with his sister, Shirley Olson Barnesville, MN.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother, Dale.
The family wishes to express its gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of the VA Hospital for their professionalism and excellent care given to Jim during his stay. The family also thanks all our friends and family who have reached out with support and love and the many prayers that were said on Jim’s behalf. We take great comfort knowing that he is now in the presence of His Lord and Savior.

Visitation Public: Noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at the West Funeral Home in West Fargo.
