First Community Credit Union Launches Podcast

-

First Community Credit Union (FCCU) is excited to announce the launch of their new podcast called "Let's CU Succeed". This podcast was created as a financial literacy tool to help listeners achieve financial success, while having fun along the way. Katie Nehl, Communications Manager at FCCU hosts the podcast, bringing different FCCU employees, guests and outside experts to share on each episode. Listeners can expect to hear fun and informative stories, while learning how to save, budget, buy a car, buy a house, community involvement and more.

A podcast is an audio program, just like Talk Radio, but you can subscribe to it on your smartphone and listen to it whenever you like.

“This has been a fun and rewarding project for us,” says Tanner Lunzman, Marketing Specialist and editor for the podcast. He continues, “We want people to see FCCU as not only a financial institution, but a partner in their financial success. We hope this podcast serves as a good resource for both members and non-members to use to learn and help accomplish their goals.”

FCCU's podcast, can be found on their website at myfccu.com/ podcasts and podcast streaming platforms including Apple, Spotify, Anchor, Google and more. Apple Podcasts also allows listers to subscribe, which brings the most recent podcasts, right to their phone.

During its 82-year history, First Community Credit Union has grown to be North Dakota’s largest Credit Union with 28 branch locations in 23 communities. As a credit union, FCCU is owned by its members. This is different than other financial institutions which are owned by a select group of stockholders. The Credit Union's profits are returned to the members in the form of better services, accounts, and favorable rates on savings and loans.
