Are You Hungry?

-

ARE YOU HUNGRY? Are you hungry? Are you really hungry? So hungry that you are ready to legally do whatever you need to do to satisfy that hunger? I know, some out there are ready to even do illegally what they need to do . . . but that is not really an option.

What is it that you are hungry for? Is it food? Is it a better relationship? Is it a better emotional state? Is it a better marriage? Is it some physical thing? I heard a statement one time that has impacted my life over and over again. It is “we always have time to do what is most important in our lives.” That can be a very convicting statement. Why? Because it reveals our heart; and that can be convicting when there is someone or something in our lives that is in an unhealthy place.

Maybe it reveals to us that our priorities are out of wack! They are out of order; and both of you and I have the power to change that by a simple decision to intentionally change that in our lives. Now! Notice I didn’t say that it was easy changing things, but the decision is easy because you have the power to change that in a moment. We make split-second decisions every day that effect our lives. Some of those decisions are major and some are not. Some effect just us, some effect others around us, and some do both! But, unless you are out on an island all by yourself, there are very few decisions that we make that only effect us; and even then you probably have people that are connected to you that care about you.

So, make a decision today to make the change! Be INTENTIONAL! Where are you at spiritually? Where are you at emotionally? Where are you at physically? Where are you at intellectually? Are you healthy in all of these areas? Talk to someone that has a good head on their shoulders and is doing well in these areas. I didn’t say there are perfect, none of us are, but speak to someone, or maybe a couple of people that are doing well in life! BE INTENTIONAL ABOUT YOUR LIFE! There are people out there that can help you! Seek wisdom from someone wise! Seek godly counsel from someone who cares about you!

The Word of God says in Psalm 34:8 “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.” HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
