WEEKLY ONGOING EVENTS/REMINDERS:
*Grief Support Group will meet, beginning April 21st, at Alley Beans from 6:308 p.m. in Valley City. The group will cover numerous topics and welcomes all ages. *VCHS Cheerleading. Always wanted to be a cheerleader, come join our team! *Babysitting Class offered for 6th grade students May 9th, 10th & 12th at the ELIM Evangelicial Church, located at 1141 9th St SW (south of Handy, Home & Hardware) in Valley City. The event is sponsored by CHI Mercy Health and Valley City Optimists. *Barnes County 4-H Dog Obedience Class Registration for kids- 3rd grade and up (Dogs- must be 6 months and older) will be held from 6-7 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning May 4th for 10 weeks at National Guard Armory. *AA Fellowship Corner Meeting Schedule: Monday 8 p.m., Tuesday 6 p.m., Wednesday noon, Friday noon, Saturday 8 p.m. NA meets on Wednesday’s at 7 p.m. at Fellowship Corner. For more information call 701-845-3705. The meetings are held at 320 2nd Ave SE in Valley City.
*Barnes County Museum, is open and welcoming visitors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays. The museum is located at 315 Central Ave N, Valley City. Call Wes at 701-845-0966 for tour and additional information.
*The Drivers License Division is currently traveling to Valley City the first and third Wednesday of each month. Services are available by appointment only by going online to dot.nd.gov or calling 1-855-633-6835.

• BC Senior Center Meal/ Activities: Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, stewed tomatoes, Rice Krispy treat. 9:30 a.m. Bone Builders exercise, 1 p.m. Bingo.

• Debbie Miller SVFA Fundraiser “Wags & Whiskers” will be held Saturday, April 23rd from 5-7 p.m. at the Valley City Eagles Club. Spaghetti dinner, silent auction and cake walk. All proceeds going to benefit local animals in need.
• Dutton’s Parlour will host a spring egg hunt on Tuesday, April 23rd for both age groups 6-12 and children 5 and under, starting at 10 a.m. at the Parlour, 256 Central Ave. N., downtown Valley City.
• Kathryn Rural Fire Department annual gun raffle will be held April 24th with a feed at 5 p.m. until gone at fire station, raffle drawing at 9 p.m. to follow.
• BC Senior Center Meal/ Activities: Knoephla soup, summer sausage and cheese sandwich, chips, whipped Jell-O.
• VCSU Bubble Bash 3 on 3 tourney for boys and girls, grades 3-12 will be held Saturday, April 23rd.
• VCBC Public Library activities: 10:30 a.m. LEGO Club.

• BC Senior Center Meal/ Activities: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, Capri vegetables, cheesecake.
• Chili and knoephla dinner will be held Sunday, April 24th from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Rogers, ND. The event inlcudes homemade baked goods for purchase and is open to the public with a free will offering.
