BCN Sweetheart Dance fun...
The BCN Family Connection hosted a Sweetheart Dance on Sunday, April 23. This is the first year the dance was held the day following prom and it was a great success. With the prom having a “sweet” theme this year, the guests were able to dance the afternoon away surrounded by giant lollipops, fluffy Truffula trees, and massive gumdrops. Refreshments were provided and each child got a souvenir of a light up toy. The Family Connection uses the dance as a dual-purpose event to raise money for the group to provide other opportunities for the school community and as a fun way to bring families together outside of school hours. Representatives share they look forward to this event each year as the smiles are well worth the effort!
