Class of ‘77 Celebrates Medicare Birthday Party

Valley City High School Class of 1977 alumni got together for a birthday celebration recently but this group added an unusual twist to the norm. The party theme, turning 65 and being eligible for Medicare, was by far a unique and fun way to share in getting older among friends. A representative of the group shared the following, “Who has a ‘Welcome to Medicare 65th Birthday Party? The VCHS Class of 77 does! We gathered at the Country Club and had a wonderful time. I just love this group. Are you jealous you’re not a member of the Class of 77? Getting older means getting better. Thanks to all who could make it and we missed you all that couldn’t! Wonder what we will celebrate next?”
