Fingal man on multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants
Barnes County Sheriff’s Office shared the following information:
“A 33-year-old Fingal man was arrested on multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants out of Barnes County, Cass County, the City of Fargo, and the City of West Fargo in the early morning hours of 02/02/2024.
Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin said his Deputies were searching for a vehicle following an incident that occurred in the City of West Fargo. During a traffic stop a male passenger of a vehicle gave a false name to a West Fargo Police Officer.
On 2/2/2024 at about 1:50 A.M. a Barnes County Deputy located that vehicle traveling south on Highway 32 in Barnes County. He attempted to initiate a traffic stop and the vehicle sped up then parked in a farmstead located in the 12600 block of 43 St. SE, Fingal. A Male passenger exited the vehicle and fled on foot from the scene. A female driver and a male passenger remained inside the vehicle and were detained.
Additional Barnes County Deputies arrived on scene. After searching the farmyard for over an hour the suspect, Le Andrew Laroque was taken into custody without incident. Laroque was transported to the Barnes County Correctional Center and was additionally charged with Refusal to Halt and Preventing Arrest.
Sheriff McClaflin would like to thank the Cass County Sheriff's Office, West Fargo Police Department, and the James /Valley Special Operations Team who provided resources in the search for Laroque.
Additional charges are pending at this time following a review with the Barnes County States Attorney.”
