We are happy to share the latest news and information from the Historic 1916 Buffalo High School that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. The school is located at 303 Pearl Street in Buffalo, North Dakota, just three miles north of I-94 at exit 314.

The month of February is a busy time of planning and preparing for activities and events for the coming year. We are excited to announce the dates for our largest and most important gathering. Mark your calendars for Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20, for our Annual Homecoming and Celebration at the Historic 1916 Buffalo High School. We always look forward to showcasing our historic school which continues to preserve our past for the future.

Our Annual Homecoming on Friday night will welcome home classmates, faculty, family, friends, and the BHS graduates from the Class of 1974 and the Class of 1964 who are celebrating their 50th and 60th anniversaries. The party on the lawn will have reunions, school exhibits, a delicious picnic supper, and a beer garden; plus music, reminiscing, a special program, and so much more. We have many reasons to get together and remember our time at the school when it really was our home away from home.

The Celebration of Saturday will highlight great music on the Pearl Street Stage. The free entertainment all afternoon will feature talented local artists performing everything from classic country to folk to rock & roll. Bring your lawn chairs, bring your friends and family and enjoy great music, good food & sweet treats, kid’s games & prizes, shopping, and a wine bar. Come for the music and Celebration at the school and plan to stay for the Second Annual Larry Zaun Memorial Car Show from 5 pm to 8 pm on Main Street at the City Park. On Sunday, February 18, please stop by the 41st Annual Buffalo Pancake & Sausage Breakfast, serving 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Enjoy homemade pancakes and sausage links, milk, coffee or orange juice, all for a free will offering to benefit the Buffalo Area QRU and the Buffalo Fire Department. Your support for the outstanding work done by the volunteers at the Buffalo Area Emergency Service Center would be appreciated.

Please come for a visit, have fun, and continue the tradition of coming home to see family and friends.
