Norma Jean Bradley Gass, 77 Fort Oglethorpe
Norma Jean Bradley Gass, of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., passed away Friday, July 15, 2016. She was 77.
She was born Oct. 27, 1938, in Rossville, Ga., to the late Charles W. and Pearl Morris Bradley. She was a lifelong resident of Northwest Georgia, residing in Ringgold and Fort Oglethorpe areas.
She was the former secretary to the director of Research and Development of Velsicol Chemical Company. She attended Parkway Baptist Church in Fort Oglethorpe. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard planting flowers to bloom year round. She also enjoyed quilting and canning vegetables.
Survivors include: Her daughters, Marcia Renee (Jeff) Teeters of Ringgold and Denise Michelle (Dan) Trueblood of McDonald, Tenn.; brother, Ronald (Gloria) Bradley of Rossville; grandchildren, Lane, Alexis and Luke Trueblood; nephews, Steve (Diane) Bradley and Mark (Susan) Bradley; niece, Gina (Randy) Shrader and her dearest friend for 40 years, Mrs. Sharon Turner. Like sisters, they shared laughter, tears, heartaches and prayers.
Visitation: Sunday, July 17, from 2-8 p.m. and Monday morning prior to the service.
Funeral services: Monday, July 18, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jerry Atkins officiating.
Burial: Tuesday, July 19, at 11 a.m. in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park, Rossville.
