Lola Christine Dooley, 90 Rossville

Lola Christine Dooley, of Rossville, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, at a local healthcare facility. She was 90.

Mrs. Dooley was born in Rossville March 11, 1926, to the late Lewis and Eula Mae White. She was a member of Newnan Springs Methodist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

She was previously employed as a legal secretary with Willard Law Firm, Steve Tingle Law Firm and was also a secretary with the Georgia Department of Labor. She also volunteere­d her time with the Red Hats Society, Walker County Genealogy Society and help- ing the homeless with Rossville First Baptist Church.

She had a joyful heart and was always caring for others. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Martell Dooley, three daughters, Brenda Dooley, Theresa Dooley and Nancy Dooley; sisters, Louise (Bill) Foster, Vera (Ray) Dickert, Anita (Herbert) Germann and Joy (Ed) Doss.

Survivors include: Her daughter, Cindy (Michael) Whigham of Rossville; sister, Jeanne Cofield of Charlotte, N.C. and brother, Roy White of Manhattan, Mont.

Visitation: Thursday, Aug. 18, from 4-8 p.m. at South Crest Chapel.

Graveside services: Friday, Aug. 19, at 10 a.m. at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
