Bobby Gene Branam, of Ringgold, Ga., passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2016. He was 72.

A resident of the Ringgold area for most of his life, he lived in Woodlawn and Cleveland, Tenn., for a short time.

He was a former employee of Durkan where he worked for 23 years and was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva Mallicote Branam; parents, Burt and Carrie Lee Jones Branam; four sisters, Wanda Burgess, Marie Young, Kathleen Brewer and Pauline Reed and three brothers, Bill, Edward and Glen Branam.

Survivors include: Three children, Mark (Wendy) Ray of Gainesvill­e, Ga., Michael (Dustina) Branam of Woodlawn, Tenn., and Amanda (Michael) Stalans of Cleveland, Tenn.; brother, Holbert Branam of Florida; eight grandchild­ren, Seth Ray, Morgan Ray,

Bethany Ray, Michael A. Branam, Zackary Champion, Nickey Rainville, Destiny Rainville and Nathan Rainville; five great-grandchild­ren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, Sept. 1, from 5-9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.

Funeral services: Friday, Sept. 2, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
