Tiny Trammell Martin, of LaFayette, Ga., passed away Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016. She was 96.

She was born Dec. 10, 1919, in Walker County to Capers B. Trammell and Sudie Hollis Trammell.

Tiny was employed for 40 years with the Walker County Health Department and Walker County Agent Office. After retirement, Mrs. Martin was involved with the Chattanoog­a Valley Homemakers Club and Senior Neighbors and she attended Gordon Lake Wesleyan Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Martin.

Survivors include: Her son, James Ray (Sharon) Martin; two grandsons, James Ray- mond (Ginger) Martin of LaFayette and Aaron D. (Christi) Martin of Dalton; five great-granddaugh­ters, McKennah, Macy, Aubrey and Natalie Martin and Kayleigh Jones; a special foster grandson, Bernie Reece and his daughter, Ashton; and one brother, James Edward Trammell of LaFayette.

Visitation: Saturday, Aug. 27, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services: Sunday, Aug. 28, at 2 p.m. at Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bob Lower officiatin­g.

Burial: LaFayette Memory Gardens.

Pallbearer­s: Paul Martin, John, Philip and Howard Bartlett, James Burton and James Ulrich.
