Express Employment Professionals recruiting in Walker County

Express Employment Professionals, a staffing agency, will be recruiting at least 50 employees for two Rock Spring and one LaFayette locations.

The event will be held Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon at the LaFayette Housing Authority at 300 Oak St. in LaFayette. Georgia Department of Labor staff will be onsite to help screen applicants.

The company is recruiting assemblers, operators, packers and production workers. All positions are temporary to permanent with all shifts available.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. Applicants who do not have a high school diploma, or General Education Diploma (GED), will be enrolled in a program for further testing.

While it is not required, forklift and automotive industry experience is preferred.

Applicants must be able to work in a hot and fast-paced environment, along with flexibility in working over-time and weekends. Salaries depend on the position. Applicants are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for jobs.
