COMMUNITY · In September, at Kids 4 Christ children’s ministry, 108 Wither Street, in LaFayette, the theme is “Working for Jesus, and being a Servant.” On Thursday, Sept. 29, from 6-7:30 p.m. there will be a free meal, then a guest from Kids Against Hunger will speak. ARTS · The Covenant College Theatre Department will present “The Bald Soprano,” a one-act comedy Friday, Sept. 30, and Saturday, Oct. 1, at 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 8, at 2:30 p.m. with an aftershow discussion panel Sept. 30, featuring Covenant French professor Jiewon Baek, linguistic professor Nola Stephens and director, Hallstrom. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors, students and staff.
