Sarah Ann Pittman Davis, 68 LaFayette

Sarah Ann Pittman Davis, of LaFayette, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016. She was 68.

She was born in Atlanta, Ga., to the late Clarence Raymond and Clara Rea Wallace Pittman.

She worked in the cafeteria for DeKalb County Board of Education for several years. She was a member of Stoneridge Community Fellowship in LaFayette.

She enjoyed cooking, listening to music by Elvis Presley and Alan Jackson, but especially spending time with her family.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James George Davis and brother, Aaron Christophe­r Pittman.

Survivors include: Their children, Richard Williams, Cheryl Ann (James) Daniels, James Richard Davis, all of LaFayette, Denise LaCouture of Vider, Texas; brothers, Raymond O’Neal Pittman of Lawrencevi­lle, Ga., Amos Pittman of Madison, Ga.; 10 grandchild­ren; nine great-grandchild­ren and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service: Saturday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m. at Stoneridge Community Fellowship, LaFayette.

Patricia Ann Riddle Clark, 76 Ringgold

Patricia Ann Riddle Clark, of Ringgold, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016. She was 76.

A lifelong resident of the North Georgia, Chattanoog­a area, she was a former employee of Bi-Lo where she worked for five years in the floral department and was a member of Apison Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Worley and Mary Rubye Langston Riddle and two brothers, Robert “Bud” Riddle and Paul Riddle Sr.

Survivors include: Her husband of 56 years, Robert “Bob” Clark of Ringgold; two children, Steven Douglas Clark of Ringgold and Rebecca Clark of Ringgold; sister, Carolyn Johnston of Apison, Tenn.; granddaugh­ter, Stephanie Briana (Christophe­r) Daffron and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, Oct. 27, from 4-8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.

Funeral service: Friday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bob Dasal and Rev. Grady Cooper officiatin­g.

Burial: Anderson Cemetery.

Thomas Cox, 45 Rossville

Thomas “Tommy” Cox, of Rossville, Ga., passed away peacefully at his residence Monday, Oct. 24, 2016. He was 45.

He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanoog­a and Rossville area.

Mr. Cox enjoyed collecting music memorabili­a, watching NASCAR, spending time with family and friends and watching the Florida Gators beat any team they played.

He attended Lakeview High School and was of the Baptist faith. He worked at Bateman Community Living as a truck driver for 13 years.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Marvin G. Cox.

Survivors include: His mother, Sandra Cox Steadman; sister, Crystal (Edd) Mabe; nieces, Haley and Meagan Mabe; stepfather, Daryl Steadman; uncle, Melvin Cox; several extended family members and a host of friends.

Visitation: Saturday, Oct. 29, from 2-4 p.m. at South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory.

Elizabeth Baker Touchstone, 92 Ft. Oglethorpe

Elizabeth Baker Touchstone, formerly of Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga., passed away Monday, Oct. 24, 2016, in Huntsville, Ala. She was 92.

Mrs. Touchstone lived most of her life in Chattanoog­a, Tenn., and the surroundin­g area.

She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Rossville, Ga., and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Thomas Touchstone.

Survivors include: Her son, Tony (Nancy) Touchstone; daughters, Connie Brown and Rita (Richard) Foster; sisters, Betty Cawood and Barbara Mason; grandchild­ren, Vanessa Brundage, Erica Thomas, Terrell Vaughn, Angela Snell, Valerie Pittman, Toni Frost and Kristy Fleming; 13 greatgrand­children; one great-great-grandson and many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Visitation: Thursday, Oct. 27, from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel.

Graveside service: Friday, Oct. 28, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, East Ridge, Tenn.

Hazel Tripp Honeycutt, 86 Rossville

Hazel Tripp Honeycutt, formerly of Rossville, Ga., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016, in Ocilla, Ga. She was 86.

Mrs. Honeycutt was a member of Parkway Baptist Temple and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Honeycutt.

Graveside service: Friday, Oct. 28, at 3 p.m. at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
