Championship Saturday set for North Georgia Youth Football and Soccer Leagues
Ringgold High School will be the host for the North Georgia Youth Football League Super Bowl VII this coming Saturday.
The 5 and 6 year-old division championship will begin at 10 a.m. and pit the Ringgold Tigers (8-0) against the Summerville Falcons (5-3).
The Chickamauga Trojans (6-0) will face the Ringgold Tigers (3-3) in the 7-year-old championship game at 12 p.m., followed by the 8-year-old championship game between the Trion Bulldogs (8-0) and the LFORA Warriors (5-2-1) at approximately 2 p.m.
At 4 p.m., the Summerville Indians (6-1) will square off with the Trion Bulldogs (6-1) in the 9-year-old title game and the day will conclude with the 10 and 11-year-old championship game between the Trion Bulldogs (6-0) and the Summerville Indians (4-3) at 6 p.m.
The athletic fields at Oakwood Christian Academy will be the site for the North Georgia Youth Soccer League championship game, which will also be held on Saturday.
The U6 Co-Ed Gold Division final between Oakwood Gardner and LaFayette Staton will begin at 10 a.m., while the Silver Division final between Chickamauga Suddeth and LaFayette Matteson will be played at 11 a.m.
The U6 Co-Ed Silver Division will be the only championship game that will be held at the soccer fields on Wheeler Avenue in Chickamauga.
The U8 Co-Ed Gold Division final will
be at 1 p.m. as Rock Spring Brown will face RYSA Thomas. The Silver Division championship will be held at 2 p.m. between Oakwood Gardner and the LaFayette (Rape) Rapids.
The U8 Girls Division championship will see Chattanooga Valley Middlebrooks take on NSA Belles Bolger at 12 p.m.
In 10U Co-Ed, the Gold Division final will feature Dade County Bradley against Oakwood McSpadden at 10 a.m. YMCA Kendall and RYSA Berry will battle in the Silver Division at 9 a.m. and LaFayette Rapier and Menlo Maddux will square off for the Bronze Division title at 11 a.m.
Trion Hudgins No. 1 will face Trion Hudgins No.2 in the 10U Girls final at 12 p.m.
The Gold Division in U12 Co-Ed will see Trion Gary face Trion Bowman at 1 p.m., while the Silver Division will match up YMCA Shiveley and LaFayette Rapier at 2 p.m.
And in the U14 CoEd championship game, RYSA Lopez will face LaFayette Greene at 3 p.m.
