Patricia Anne Vandergriff Shelton, 55 Ringgold
Patricia Anne Vandergriff Shelton, of Ringgold, Ga., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016. She was 55.
She was born in Knoxville, Tenn., and was a resident of the North Georgia area for the last 50 years.
She was a member of Green’s Lake Road Church of Christ and previously worked at Westside Elementary, Orange Grove Center and most recently at Sam’s Wholesale in the Demo Department.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and decorating cakes. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother who will be truly missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include: Her loving husband of more than 33 years, Tommy Rhea Shelton; parents, Virgil and Anne Smith Vandergriff; daughter, Susan Marie (Brian) Robinson all of Ringgold; sister, Karen Lynn (Johnny) Urban of Richmond, Va.; brother, Larry (Tracy) Vandergriff of Ringgold; two grandchildren, Julie Mae Robinson and John Charles Robinson;
several nieces and nephews and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation: Tuesday, Nov. 1, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
A Celebration of Life service: Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 6 p.m. at Fort Oglethorpe Church of Christ with Min. Robby Eversole officiating.
Burial: Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
