- By Scott Herpst

For the Gordon Lee Trojans, it’s been a frustrating year to say the least.

The Navy-and-White have endured more than their share of heartbreak already this season. Seven of their eight losses have come by 10 points or less and four have come by four points or less.

But a trip to Whitwell High School this past week gave the Trojans a bit of an overdue Christmas gift – momentum.

The Trojans (4-8 overall) once against suffered another tough setback in their opening game of the Whitwell Christmas Tournament, but recorded back-toback solid victories as they get set to jump into the main region portion of their schedule this week.
