LHS rifle team wins again

The LaFayette High School JROTC rifle team welcomed Ridgeland’s Air Force JROTC to south Walker County for a match this past Thursday and the Ramblers would move to 8-0 on the season with a 1,114-1,022 victory.

Emma Sargeant was once again the top shooter for LaFayette with a 286 (out of 300). Andrew Carroll followed with a 278. Alyssa Kiser shot a 276 and Emiley Jenkins finished with a 272.

Individual scoring for Ridgeland was not provided as of press time.

LaFayette’s next scheduled match is Feb. 23 at home against Adairsville’s Army JROTC.
