Sandra Louise Simons Parris,53, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Tuesday February 21, 2017. A native of Monroe, Georgia, she has lived in the Ringgold area for the past 47 years and was a former employee of Sierra
Transportation where she worked for 15 years.
She is preceded in death by her father, George H. Simons.
She is survived by her mother, Pally Jo Hall Simons Clark of Tunnel Hill, GA.; sister, Anita (Geoff) Stubbs of Tunnel Hill, GA.; special nephew, Shannon Bridges.

Sharon “Sheri” Charlene Welchance Redden, 54, of East Ridge, Tennessee, passed away Friday February 17, 2017.
A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, she was a former employee of Catoosa County School System where she worked in the cafeteria, attended Midway Baptist Church and loved to play pool.
She is preceded in death by her father, Glenn Welchance; and two sisters, Debi Anderson and Kathy Thacker.
Survivors include: son, Randy (Kelly) Redden Jr. of Chickamauga, GA., daughter, Kristi Anderson of Ringgold, GA.; mother, Katherine Barbee Welchance of East Ridge, TN.; sister, Judie Thacker of Chattanooga, TN.; brother, Edward Welchance of Jacksonville, AL.; granddaughter, Alexis Redden; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Monday from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 21, in the funeral home chapel.
Burial: Anderson Memorial Gardens.

Allen C. Webb, 65, of Rossville, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017.
He and was of the Baptist faith and loved watching Sports and NASCAR.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Lee Webb.
Survivors include his father; D.F. Webb, Sr.; children, Mollye (Levi) Cagle, Sarah Webb, Cliff (Brittany) Webb; brother, Felix Webb, Jr.; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 20th, at the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes, from 4:00 – 9:00 PM.

James William “Jim” Guy III, 58, Rossville
James William “Jim” Guy III, 58, of Rossville went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 19, 2017.
He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga & North Georgia areas and was a member of Fresh Word Ministries Church in Chattanooga.
He was previously employed with The Roofing & Supply Company for more than 16 years as a truck driver and enjoyed playing the bass guitar and singing at his church.
He was a huge Tennessee VOLS Football fan and loved watching NASCAR.
He was always a mentor to the young men around his neighborhood and always put others’ needs before his own.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Guy, II, son, Benjamin Gray and brother, Clifford Guy
Survivors include his loving wife of more than 33 years, Maggie Radford Guy of Rossville, GA; mother, Betty Ellison of LaFayette, GA; children, George Gray of Rossville, GA, Missy Guy of Chattanooga, TN and Angel Wiekle of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Ron Guy of Chattanooga, TN and Mark Guy of Atlanta, GA; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and numerous extended family & friends.
The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. on Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Bro. Jesse Hall officiating.
Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

Billy Wayne Blakemore, 62 of Rossville, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017. He was born in Victoria, Texas to the late, Harold & Juanita Blakemore but had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith. He was a United States Army Veteran and was employed with Mohawk Industries for many years. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed spending time with family & friends. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Vickie Blakemore and grandparents, Frank & Gladys Blakemore and Henry & Lily Williams.
Survivors include his two daughters, Michelle & Jennifer of Texas; step-children, Sara Boyd of Rossville, GA and Dalton Hill of Birchwood, TN; brother, Ronnie Blakemore of Rossville, GA; 4 stepgrandchildren and numerous extended family & friends.
The family will receive friends after 4 p.m. Sunday, all day Monday and prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel.

Melissa Sue Jones, 27, Ringgold
Melissa Sue Jones, 27, of Ringgold, GA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 19, 2017.
She was born in South Bend, IN and lived the majority of her life in the Chattanooga, TN area.
She was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church and served as Sunday School teacher there. She enjoyed her children, crafting hair bows and photography. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, who will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Dyer and grandmother, Jewel Damron Mahan.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Jones; mother, Vernie Dyer; children, Shelby (Michael) Teems, Brett Jones, Gabriella Jewel, Karmin Gean; brother, Frank Lyons; sisters, Jamie (Mardoqueo) Lopez and L’Rae (Tim) Delaney; grandson, Carson.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday and prior to the service on Thursday.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 23, 2017, in the Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel of Wilson Funeral Homes with Bro. Jeremy Fincher and Bro. J.T. Sanders officiating.
