Driveline is holding a job recruitment in LaFayette

Texas-based Driveline Retail Merchandising will be recruiting employees to provide merchandise services to retail stores in Walker and the surrounding counties.

The recruitment will be held Tuesday, March 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Georgia Department of Labor’s (GDOL) LaFayette Career Center at 200 West Villanow St. in LaFayette.

The company is recruiting workers to fill five part-time merchandiser positions.

All applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED) and at least one year of merchandising or retail experience.

Employees will work out of their homes and receive their store assignments from the employer. Applicants must have a computer, printer, access to the internet and an email account. Also, they must have dependable transportation, since they will be driving from their homes to the assigned stores.

At the stores, the employees will be setting up merchandising displays and must be able to climb, bend, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
