Sara Craig Hilburn, 74, LaFayette

Sara Craig Hilburn, age 74, of LaFayette passed away Friday, April 14, 2017.

She was the wife of the late Charles Hilburn, and retired from Sign-Rite.

Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Mark (Renee) Hilburn of South Carolina; sisters, Louise Brown of LaFayette, and Martha Sims of Blairsvill­e, Ga.; grandchild­ren, Amber and Tyler Hilburn.

Visitation at the funeral home Sunday from 3p.m. – 6p.m.

Funeral from the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel Monday, April 17th at 3:00 p.m.

Interment in the Naomi Cemetery.

Clyde Lee Millard, 79, Chickamaug­a

Clyde Lee Millard, age 79 of Chickamaug­a, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Elm Croft Assisted Living Home, where he has been struggling with dementia.

He worked at ADM Flour Mill for 52 yrs., retiring at the age of 75.

Clyde was preceded in death by his loving wife, Iva Ruth Millard; parents, Bill and Ellen Combs; and son, Ivan Millard.

He is survived by his daughter, Joanne Abbott, sons, Steve (Linda) Millard, Dewayne (Carol) Millard, Ronnie Millard, and Thomas (Margo) Millard; grandchild­ren, Sherry Abbott, Crystal Stokes, Amber Myers, Steven Millard, Nathan Millard, Jordan Millard, Jade Millard Baltimore, and Hunter Millard; sisters, Lucy Rogers and Margie Wilhoite; 15 great grandchild­ren; and his significan­t other of 20 yrs., Hazel Bryant of Ooltewah, and her family.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and prior to the service on Saturday.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 22,

2017, in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. John Jones officiatin­g.

Interment will follow in the LaFayette Memory Gardens.

Randall Lebron Nichols, 73, Ringgold

Randall Lebron Nichols, 73, of Ringgold passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at his home.

Randall was a born again Christian and was a member of several churches in the area, including Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Lee Highway, Welcome Hill Baptist Church in Ringgold, and Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Ft. Oglethorpe.

Randall was a graduate of Ringgold High School and was a retiree of U.S. Pipe where he worked for over 40 years as a supervisor in the shipping department. Later Randall was employed with Beaulieu of America in Dalton.

He loved the outdoors and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elsie Nichols; brother, Marshall Nichols; sister, Glenda Nichols; nephews, Gene and Bobby Nichols.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Sherry Brooks Nichols; two sons, Randall Lebron Nichols, Jr (Debbie) of Dalton, GA and William Michael Nichols of Rossville, GA; three sisters, Barbara (Jack) Cooper of Byron, GA, Gail (Craig) Clark of Cohutta, GA, and Sharon Bomar(Bill) of Chickamaug­a, GA; father-in-law, William L. (Mary) Brooks of Chattanoog­a, TN; mother-in-law, Selma Brooks of Rossville, GA; sisters-in-law, Sarah Nichols of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, Debra Reeves of Rossville, GA, and B.J. Howell of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; brotherin-law, Larry (Debbie) Brooks of Chattanoog­a, TN and several nieces and nephews; and last but not least in his heart he is survived by his Yorkie, Scotia.

The family would

like to thank the staff of ICU at Parkridge East Hospital in East Ridge, TN, the great folks at Compassus Hospice Group for all their care during this time, and Neal Brown of Heritage Baptist Church for his many visits during Randall’s illness.

The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Neal Brown officiatin­g.

Private interment will follow in the Catoosa Memorial Gardens.

Ida Mae Moore Johnson, 97, Chattanoog­a, Tenn.

Ida Mae Moore Johnson, 97, of Chattanoog­a, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 in a local health care facility.

Mrs. Johnson was

of the Methodist faith, enjoyed quilting and working in her flower garden.

She was retired from Cobble-Muse Hosiery Mill with more than 30 years of service, and was preceded in death by her husbands, Noel A. Moore and Eldridge Johnson, daughters, Mary Frances Boyd and Wilda Lou Roach, and brothers, Bill, Troy, John, & Raymond Martin.

Survivors include her daughters, Angela (Richard) Nicely of Rossville & Vickie (John) Smith of Hixson; fifteen grandchild­ren; several great and greatgreat- grandchild­ren.

The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at the South Crest Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Monday,

April 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with interment to follow in Hawkins Cemetery, Lookout Mountain.

Janice Marie Tomlin, 63, Rossville

Janice Marie Tomlin, 63, of Rossville and formerly of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017.

She was of the Catholic faith and served in the Air Force in the 1970’s as a Med Tech before marring and raising two sons. She was a loving wife and mother and was an enthusiast­ic cook, baker and gardener. Janice will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Martha Rast.

Survivors include her loving husband of 36 years, James Tomlin; sons, James Tomlin III and William Tomlin; sister, Donna Fisher; brothers, Carl, Raymond, Balfour, Mike, Richard, Billy and Danny Rast; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2017, at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
