History made as world title changes hands in LaFayette

Jim Powell Presents Southern Legacy Wrestling made history in LaFayette on Saturday, April 15, when the Allied Independent Wrestling Federations AIWF World Tag Team Wrestling Championships changed hands as the tag team of Georgia Heat defeated the Bowser Brothers to capture the titles at an event held at the LaFayette Recreation Center.

This was the first time a world championship changed hands in LaFayette.

The Georgia Heat, a tag team consisting of Cody Roberts and Josh Cantrell, were able to put a stop to the AIWF World Championship reign of the Bowser Brothers, Francisco Ciatso and Eric Wayne who were led to the ring by Stormie Lee, and leave as new world tag team champions.

Jim Powell Presents Southern Legacy Wrestling returns to LaFayette on Saturday, May 20.
