“Explore Health” an all-new local program debuts Oct. 5 on WTCI

WTCI is pleased to announce that EXPLORE HEALTH, an all-new locallypro­duced program, will debut on-air at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5.

Health is one of the leading topics in America today and WTCI is thrilled to partner with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, Morning Pointe Senior Living and Southern Adventist University to bring this exciting new series to the Tennessee Valley.

Hosted by Ron Harr, former president/CEO of the Chattanoog­a Chamber of Commerce and CEO of BlueCare, the series will feature health experts exploring the important topics that matter to everyone in 12 episodes during the fall/winter season. “I truly believe that better public understand­ing of these issues can help solve many of our problems,” says Ron Harr. “Public Television is the perfect distributi­on channel for this informatio­n. PBS is a trusted source of unbiased informatio­n and I’m excited to work with the award-winning team at WTCI on this new series.”

Audience members will be invited to share their questions and thoughts on topics through social media outlets and via email and web portals. Ron Harr and his guests will engage the Tennessee Valley as we EXPLORE HEALTH in our community and beyond, addressing topics like asthma and allergies, stroke care, mental health, the Opioids crisis, Alzheimer’s disease and more.
