Middle School Football: Eagles, Tigers, Generals score impressive victories

Dillon Shropshire had three rushing touchdowns and Amarreon Turner tossed a pair of TD passes to Jakobe Turner as the Chattanoog­a Valley Eagles walloped Gordon Lee, 46-0, in an NGAC game at Ridgeland High School on Thursday.

K’yan Clark also had a TD run for CVMS (21), while Ashton Turner was another offensive standout for the Eagles. Cade Dunn, Jonathan Woodall, Lamarcus Bailey, Levi Milspas, Cash Montgomery and Jacob Klein were listed as defensive standouts.

Kade Cowan had eight tackles for the Trojans (1-1), while Zane Blaylock and Nate Dunfee recorded four each. Dunfee had six carries for 15 yards.

In the JV game, the Eagles held on for a 1412 victory.

Milsaps and Jakobe Turner found the endzone for CVMS. Austin Acuff, Parker Johnson, Tyler Sparks, Carson Middleton and John Hill were offensive standouts for the Valley, while big defensive were turned in by Elijah Hood, Javon Lewis, Zyreese Watkins and Ritt Tankersley.

Chattanoog­a Valley will host Lakeview this Thursday at 4:30 p.m., while Gordon Lee will entertain Dade County.

Ringgold 42, Dade County 6

The Tigers improved to 3-0 after coasting to a 42-6 victory Thursday in Trenton.

Mason Parker had TD runs on 50 and 80 yards, while Kyle White added a 50-yard scoring run, a 7-yard touchdown and a pair of 2-point conversion­s.

Kori Dumas had TD runs of 25 and 45 yards and added an intercepti­on on defense, while Alex Otting caught a 2 point pass.

J.D. Harris and Landon Eaker also had intercepti­ons for the Tigers, who will play at Saddle Ridge this Thursday, starting at 4:30 p.m.

Heritage 48, Saddle Ridge 0

The Generals picked up their first win with a 48-0 home win over the Mustangs (0-3) on Thursday.

No further details were provided as of press time.

Heritage (1-2) will play at unbeaten LaFayette this Thursday.
