Allan Larry Dworkin, 67 of Rossville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 25, 2017.

He had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was of the Christian faith. He had worked most of his life as a Truck Driver and retired from RRR Transporta­tion. His true passion in life was driving and seeing the country while making a living for his family. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfathe­r who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his loving wife of more than 37 years, Darla Overturf Dworkin of Rossville, GA; children, Charlotte Marie Dworkin-Marshall & (Thom) Marshall of Wicklffe, Ohio, Autumn Dworkin of Rossville, GA, Rebecca Gore & (Billy Moore) of Fort Oglethorpe, GA and Matthew Dworkin & (Jessica Leavitte) of Chickamaug­a, GA; brother, Jeff Dworkin of Cary, NC; sisterin-law, Pam Coley; 14 grandchild­ren, Zachery Gore, Preston Dworkin, Katie Shelly, Heidi Edder, Anniston Webb, Manni Dworkin, Sarah Marshall, Lydia Webb, Olyvia Webb, Caydence Loga, Alaunna Vaughn, Levan Dworkin, Billy Moore, Jr. and Waylon Moore; great granddaugh­ter, Mya Grace Dworkin and numerous extended family & friends.

Tammie Brock Rogers Hickey, 58, Chickamaug­a

Tammie Brock Rogers Hickey, 58 of Chickamaug­a, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 22, 2017.

She had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed singing Karaoke, working with special needs children and was employed with the Walker County School System as a Bus Attendant. She was also active with the Children’s Miracle Network and the Ronald McDonald House for many years. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wife and sister who will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharron Rogers and beloved sister, Jamie Lucindy Pope.

Harry Truman Montgomery, 72, Chickamaug­a

Harry Truman Montgomery, age 72, of Chickamaug­a, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

He was born on August 22, 1945 to the late Mr. Jessie Parks Montgomery and Mrs. Rosie Lee Turner Montgomery. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his grandparen­ts, Mr. and Mrs. Willie O. Turner, and brother-inlaw, Donald Careathers.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Careathers of Chickamaug­a, Georgia, Deborah (Stacey) Evans of Lyerly, Georgia, and Sheila Montgomery of Chattanoog­a, Tennessee; brothers, Jessie (Vivian) Montgomery of Chattanoog­a and Calvin (Betty) Montgomery of Chickamaug­a; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service: Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church, 20 Parrish Circle, Chickamaug­a, Georgia, with Pastor Hugh Byrd and other ministers officiatin­g.

Alfred Lee Massey, 77

Alfred Lee Massey, age 77, passed away September 27, 2017 in the Hospice Care Center of Chattanoog­a.

He is survived by his friend, Ty Sills; brother, Ikey Massey; son, Brent Massey; daughter, Cheryl Lucieer (Greg); grandsons: Tyler Reynolds (Makayla), Gavyn Lucieer, Dylan Voss, Braden Massey; granddaugh­ters: Tori Prine, Haley Massey, and great grandchild­ren: Cameron and Tyleigh Reynolds, and many family members and friends.

Memorial services: At Grace Episcopal Church on Saturday September 30th at 11:15am.

Ashes will be interred in the Grace Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.

Visitation: Grace Episcopal Church Saturday from 10-11am.

Clyde P. Beavers, 86, Fort Oglethorpe

Clyde P. Beavers, 86, of Ft. Oglethorpe, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

Clyde was born to the late Delbert & Forrestine Beavers in 1930 in Jackson County, Alabama. He had spent the greater part of his life in north Georgia and was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. Mr. Beavers was a veteran of the U.S. Army, was a retired driver with Overnight Transporta­tion, enjoyed fishing and old cars, and was an avid Alabama Tide fan. He was preceded in death by his niece, Sheila Kay Beavers.

Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Sula Kirk Beavers; sons, Jeff (Jo Ann) Beavers of Ringgold, and Christophe­r Beavers of Ft. Oglethorpe; grandchild­ren, Ryan Beavers, Chase (Caitlin) Beavers, all of Chickamaug­a, & Logan (Allison) Beavers of Kingsport, TN: five great-grandchild­ren; sisters, Ima Rodgers, Scottsboro, AL, Hazel Green, Atlanta, GA, & Betty Haynes, Winchester, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Clifford Randall Roberts, 68, Ringgold

Clifford Randall Roberts, 68, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017.

A resident of the Ringgold area for the past sixteen years, he was formerly of Monroe, Georgia. Clifford was an Attorney at law for 20 years and attended Keith Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Rush and Beatrice Watts Roberts; and half-brother, Talmadge Roberts.

He is survived by his daughter, Randesa Torres-Rojas of Ringgold, GA.; sister, Frana Leatrice Wright of Monroe, GA.; brother, Deland Howard Roberts of Monroe, GA.; two grandchild­ren, Ashley PoseyManle­y and Ashlen Victorio; five great grandchild­ren, one niece and two nephews.

Elinor Cole Lamborn, 86, LaFayette

Elinor Cole Lamborn, age 86, a resident of LaFayette since 1960 passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Bridge Assisted Living in Ooltewah.

She was a graduate of the Girls Preparator­y School and the University of Chattanoog­a. Elinor was a member of the LaFayette Presbyteri­an Church, a longtime member of the LaFayette Woman’s Club where she served a term as president, and a member of the Brainerd Women’s Golf Associatio­n. She loved watching and feeding birds.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Bob Lamborn of Ooltewah, Tenn.; son, Rob (Amy) Lamborn of Sewanee, Tenn.; granddaugh­ter, Caroline Lamborn; brother, James B. (Peggy) Cole Jr., of Chattanoog­a; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Noon to 1:30 pm Monday, September 25, 2017 in the Fellowship Hall of the LaFayette Presbyteri­an Church with the service to follow at 2pm in the sanctuary with Rev. Cathy Meyer and Rev. Ken Waddell officiatin­g.

Rosa Lee Ridley Pevehouse, age 67, of Rocky Face passed away Monday, September 25, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arland “Bud” Travis Pevehouse; parents, Mikey and Florence Ridley; sister, Betty Jean Thompson; and brother, Charles “Burt” Ridley.

She is survived by her sisters, Ethel (James Lonnie) Nix and Joyce Ridley Patterson; brothers, Jessie (Paula) Ridley of Fort Myers, Fla., Kenny (Beth) Ridley of Fort Oglethorpe, and Raymond Ridley of Dalton; special nephew and niece, Kurt (Sissie) Ridley and Tabitha (Stephan) Wooten; and several additional nieces and nephews.

Fletcher Lee Shipp, 78, LaFayette

Fletcher Lee Shipp, age 78, of LaFayette passed away Monday, September 25, 2017, after a brave fight with dementia and Parkinson’s disease.

He was a member the First Church of God of LaFayette.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Mack Shipp and Fannie Thompson Shipp; and brothers, Hurl “Pete” Shipp and Orville Shipp.

He is survived by his loving friend of 37 years and caregiver for the last 19 months, Gussie Vanhorn of LaFayette; sister, Marcina (Charlie) Jackson of LaFayette; brothers, Maxie (Ann) Shipp of LaFayette and Paul Shipp of Houston, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service: 2 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2017 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Doug Douglas officiatin­g.

Interment: LaFayette Memory Gardens.
