William “Bill” Fowler, 84, Ringgold

William “Bill” Fowler, 84, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Friday, September 29, 2017.

A lifelong resident of the Ringgold, and Dalton areas, he was a former employee of Jordan Tank Lines where he worked for 33 years, Duvall Trucking where he worked for 5 years and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Evelyn Dale Fowler; parents, Clarence and Delaney Lowery Fowler; stepson, Lesley McClure; one great grandson and several siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ruth Cummings Fowler of Ringgold, GA.; two step-children, Debbie McClure of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA and Terry Lee McClure of Ringgold, GA.; six children, Brenda (Randy) Brooks of Dalton, GA., Billy (Cindy) Fowler of Rocky Face, GA., Jerry (Sandra) Fowler of Dalton, GA., Gregory Fowler of Dalton, GA., Roger (Sheila) Fowler

of Chatsworth, GA., and Rhonda (James) Harrison of Dalton, GA.; two sisters, Lucille (Paul) Marshall of Chatsworth, GA, Patricia (Roger) Harris of Dalton, GA.; brother, Clyde (Jerry) Fowler of Chatsworth, GA.; fifteen grandchild­ren, several great grandchild­ren, several great great grandchild­ren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: 2:00 P.M. Monday October 2, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe McIntyre and Rev. Billy Joe Cochran officiatin­g.

Interment: United Memorial Gardens in Dalton, Georgia.

Visitation: Sunday from 2-8 P.M. and Monday from 9 A.M. until funeral time at the funeral home.

Darrell Lawrence Dunn, 76, Chattanoog­a, Tenn.

Evangelist Darrell Lawrence Dunn, 76 of Chattanoog­a, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 30, 2017. He had lived in the Chattanoog­a area for most of his life and was an Evangelist for more than 60 years. He was a past President of the Tennessee Temple Alumni Associatio­n and was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfathe­r and great grandfathe­r who will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence & Helen Dunn and brother,

Russell Dunn.

Survivors include his loving wife of more than 56 years, Betty Anderson Dunn of Chattanoog­a, TN; children, Debra Dunn of Chattanoog­a, TN, David & (Shawn) Dunn of Phoenix, AZ and Michael Dunn of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Anita Kutej of Oklahoma City, OK, Mary Freeman of Harrah, OK and Bruce & (Pat) Dunn of Tarpon Springs, FL; 8 grandchild­ren, David James Dunn, Michael, Brittney, Jonathan, Cassie, Abby, Megan and Charity Dunn; 2 great grandchild­ren, Leighland Jace Kaiser and Dawson Remington Dunn; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.

Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Dr. James Rushing, Bro. David Dunn and Rev. Tim Anderson officiatin­g.

Burial: Chattanoog­a Memorial Park.

Visitation: 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
