Burning Leaf Festival coming to Cloudland

Cloudland, Ga., on the east brow of Lookout Mountain (at the blinking light of AL 117/GA 48 and GA 157) is having its 4th annual Burning Leaf Festival on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 9 a.m.- 3.p.m .. The park is located on Gadsden Avenue,about ½ mile from the blinking light.

Come and join in the family fun for all ages. There will be many arts and craft vendors, food and snacks, small businesses and organizations, and direct sales.

Live music will entertain everyone with a variety of performers including Terry Hutchinson and the band, Just One.

Games and activities will entertain the children and will include a costume contest, a candy walk, apple bobbing, carnival games, pumpkin and face painting, bean bag toss, a large jumping inflatable and other activities.. Norman Peay will be taking Christmas photos of individuals or families.

Jeff Mosher will have his Holy Smokes BarB-Q sandwiches and plates for sale along with his famous Brunswick stew. You can also pre-order (before October 14) Bar-B-Q butts for $30 and pick them up at the festival. The butts weigh between 5-6 lbs.
