Dorothy “Dot” Ann Edwards, 81, LaFayette, Ga.
Dorothy “Dot” Ann Edwards, age 81, of LaFayette passed away Saturday, January 05, 2019.
She was a business partner with the late Norma Russell at The Bouquet Shop for 20 years. She loved spending time outside in and always made sure the outdoor birds were well fed. Dot’s love for life and people would light up a room and brighten the life of those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Evie Whaley; brother, Darrell Whaley; and sister, Nina Whaley Travillian.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Allan Edwards of LaFayette; daughter, Andrea Herr of Knoxville; son, Chuck Edwards of LaFayette; sisters, Betty Ruth Linsdey, Reba Colbert, and Joyce (Lowell) Cantrell all of LaFayette; grandchild, Ian ( Jordin) Herr; great grandchild, Sawyer Herr; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service: 3:30 p.m. Monday, January 7 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with visitation prior to the service starting at 2 p.m.

Judith “Judy” Anne Lemons, 69, Ringgold, Ga.
Judith “Judy” Anne Lemons, age 69, of Ringgold passed away Friday, January 4, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Howard Davis and Mary Frances Hegwood Davis.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacy (Ray) Farrow Smith of Ringgold; son, Greg (Deborah) Phillips of Noble; brother, Danny Davis of Ringgold; grandchildren, Amanda Narramore and Rhett Smith; great grandchildren, Gracie Narramore and Ellie Richards; nephew, Alex Davis of Ringgold; and special friend, Tootsie Kuritz.
Graveside service: For immediate family and close friends on Monday, January 7 at 2 p.m. at Rock Spring Cemetery.

Trever Eugene Roberson, 24, Rossville, Ga.
Trever Eugene Roberson, age 24, of Rossville passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019.
He worked for Mount Vernon Mills and was a motorcyclist enthusiast. Trever never met a stranger and always had a willingness to help anyone.
He is survived by his mother, Jojo Stanfield of Rossville; father, Tim Roberson of Ooltewah; stepparents, Jacob Bartels and Jamie Stanfield both of Summerville; grandparents, Michael Roberson and Treva Chastain both of Ooltewah; sisters, Dashika Marsh of Rossville, Briana Tucker of LaFayette, and Aszrian Bartels of Atlan- ta; brothers, Charles Marsh Jr., of Dalton, Billy Robinson Jr., of Rossville, Jacob Bartels Jr., of Summerville, Cory Tumblin of Dalton, and Levi Stanfield of Summerville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service: 4 p.m. Sunday, January 6th in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel - ciating.

Leah Ruth Garrison Loughridge, 97
Leah Ruth Garrison Loughridge, 97, passed away Sunday January 6, 2019 following a short decline.
Ruth was born in 1921 the daughter of W.E. and Virginia Garrison and came to LaFayette, GA for work at Fortune Mills and later worked for E.T. Barwick Industries and Caron Industries prior to retiring in the 1980s. Ruth was a long time member of and attended regularly services at the First Baptist Church in LaFayette. Ruth foremost a grandmother and great-grandmother, fondly known as “grammy” by her 6 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren whose lives she followed with great interest and attended as many of their activities as she could. Ruth enjoyed being outside and could almost always be found tending her yard or reading on her porch, barring cold weather, which, mildly put, she did not particularly enjoy.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and James Garrison, and sisters-in-law Avis Thomas and Genelle Roberts and son-in-law Jimmy Dendy Sr.
Ruth is survived by a sister, Juanita Garrison Childs of Sarasota, FL, sistersin-law Lottie Garrison of Gulf Shores, AL and Doris Loughridge Potts of Rock Spring, GA, her daughter Kay Loughridge Dendy Trion, GA and son William Ross “Bill” Loughridge (Karen) Trion, GA, grandsons Jim Dendy (Mike) Atlanta, GA, David Dendy (Lindsay) Atlanta, GA, Will Dendy (Heather) Chattanooga, TN, Lee Dendy (Catherine) Chickamauga, GA, Cole Loughridge Atlanta, GA, and Josh Loughridge (Summer) Trion, GA and thirteen greatgrandchildren.
Graveside service: LaFayette Cemetery on January 8 at 1 PM, conducted by the Worship Pastor Tom Ariail of LaFayette First Baptist Church. Family and friends will gather at the gravesite starting at 12 PM.

Velma “Mae” Wilson, 68, LaFayette, Ga.
Velma “Mae” Wilson, age 68, of LaFayette, GA passed away on Thursday morning, January 3rd, 2019 at Memorial Hospital, in Chattanooga.
She was born on April 22, 1950 in LaFayette, GA where she remained all of her life. She was the daughter of John and Pearlie Mae Stoker of Kensington, GA.
Mae loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and was a great baker. Mae was a kind, caring and honest women with a strong spirit that all who knew her appreciated. Mae worked in Production for most of her life and happily retired in 2014.
Mae is survived by her children, Stacey (Karen) Thomas, son of Rock Spring, GA, Holly (Danny) Claire, daughter of Chickamauga, GA and Jonathan Wilson, son of Norfolk, VA (Navy), Kaylee and Jenna Claire, granddaughters and Justin Thomas, grandson, along with several nieces and nephews.
She leaves behind countless memories for all who loved her to remember and will be greatly missed.

Daisy Mae Yates Crumley, 91, Ringgold, Ga.
Daisy Mae Yates Crumley, age 91, of Ringgold, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2018. She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Grace Troxal; first husband, Arlen Yates; son, LeBron Yates; several sisters and brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Orvel Crumley; daughter, Dianna Sharp; sisters, Judy Gadd and Peggy Luce; brother, Fredrick Troxal; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; numerous friends and church family.
Visitation: Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. till 2:30 p.m.
