The Lady Trojans jumped out to a 13-1 lead after the opening stanza and went on to pick up a region win on the road Friday night.

Gordon Lee (4-5, 2-1) got 18 big points from McGraw, including four 3-pointers. Kaitlyn Wagoner finished with 11 and McElhaney had 10.

Six points by Phillips and two apiece from Wilson, Sharp and Seanna Norton rounded out the scoring.

DREW CHARTER BOYS 90, GORDON LEE 30

The No. 1-ranked team in the Class A Public School division built a 54-18 lead at halftime and pulled away even more in the third quarter.

Holmes had 10 points for Gordon Lee. Jackson scored five points. Whitman and Andrew Amor each scored four. Sartin, Parham and Jordan Underwood had two points apiece, while Luke Sikes chipped in with one.

GORDON LEE BOYS 59, ATLANTA CLASSICAL ACADEMY 45

The Trojans bounced back nicely from the loss with a victory at Atlanta on Saturday.

Gordon Lee fell behind 18-8 after one quarter and trailed 30-18 at halftime, but came storming back in the second half, outscoring ACA 41-15 over the final two periods of play.

Eight different players scored for Gordon Lee (4-2, 4-1) in the 24-point fourth quarter alone. Holmes finished with a game-high 26 points, including an 11 of 14 performanc­e at the free throw line. Jackson had eight points and Josh Underwood finished with six, while Jordan Underwood dropped in five.

Parham and McCutcheon each scored three points, while Goodwin, Whitman, Sikes and Sartin all scored two points apiece.

The Lady Trojans did not play on Saturday.
