Gordon Lee girls stay atop NGAC standings

The Gordon Lee Lady Trojans got eight points from Camdyn Carter, seven from

yleigh Custer and six from Riley Mull in a 38-8 road win at Rossville last Monday.

The rest of the scoring was completed by four points from Brenley Burnette, Hynleigh Harding, Laney Wilson and Whitney Blaylock, along with one point by ynleigh Custer.

Addison Watkins had six points for the Lady Bulldogs, while Taylin Parkman scored the other two.

HERITAGE 39, LAFAYETTE 7

The Lady Generals got 13 points and six rebounds from Georgia Gracy and eight points and seven boards from Paisley Collins in a win at LaFayette last Monday.

Bre Roberts and Ansley Lawson recorded four points apiece, while the night was rounded out by two apiece from aroline Chandler, Brylee Pritchett, Addyson Morrison, Electra Bowling and Collins Fletcher.

oey Smith scored three for the Lady Ramblers, followed by two each by Ella Donahue and Ava elley.

GORDON LEE 35, HERITAGE 16

The Lady Trojans traveled to Boynton on Thursday night for a showdown with the Lady Generals and brought their defense with them.

The Navy-and-White outscored their hosts in every quarter to pick up a victory and remain perfect on the year.

yleigh Custer, ynleigh Custer and Mull each had nine points for the Lady Trojans, while Wilson scored eight.

Gracy had seven points for Heritage, who lost for just the second time this season. Fletcher and Madi Simpson both scored four points, and Pritchett added one to round out the night.

CHATTANOOG­A VALLEY 36, TRION 22

The Lady Eagles got 15 points, 14 steals, four assists and two rebounds from Jordyn

Thomas last Monday’s home victory. Sha Elliot had nine points, six steals and three assists, while ailynn Bailey finished with six points, eight rebounds, two steals and one assist to aid the cause.

Chesney Pritchett chipped in with four points and one board. Maddi Champagne picked up two points, two rebounds and one assist. Rachael Lukens pulled down three boards and had a steal, while Sara Rosenbloom, Hannah Hood, Lily Landis and Hayden Cheli also had solid minutes on the floor.

LAKEVIEW 46, DADE 9

The Lady Warriors made it five wins in their six previous games with a victory last Monday night in Fort Oglethorpe.

Ava Headrick scored 12 points in a balanced offensive night for the Red-andWhite. Bryleigh Gray and Ayvah Langston both finished with eight points. Abigail Rifenberck scored six, while aylee Moore, Maya Satterfiel­d and Lizet Jimenez had four points apiece.

CHATTANOOG­A VALLEY 21, LAKEVIEW 15

Pritchett was the leading scorer for the Lady Eagles in their home win this past Thursday. She had six points and also helped out with two rebounds, a steal and an assist. Thomas had four points, four rebounds, three assists and five steals, while Champagne finished with four points, three boards, two steals and one assist.

Bailey had three points, grabbed seven rebounds and recorded a steal. Elliott had five steals to go with two points, two rebounds and two assists. Cheli completed the scoring with two points, and Alaina Shaver had a rebound and a pair of steals.

Headrick had five points for the Lady Warriors in the low-scoring battle. Moore added three points, while Rifenberic­k, Gray and Satterfiel­d scored two points each.
