Edison Schumann planned a delightful surprise in honor of his brother Clyde’s 23rd birthday anniversary, which was quite cleverly carried out Friday evening at the home of Mrs. George Schumann. Mr. Schumann was certainly surprised, which vastly pleased the merrymakers, and an evening of games and music was much enjoyed, during which a light lunch was served. Those present were: Misses Elsie Baeumel, Alvina Ruck, Louisa Hollenbacher, Minnie, Helen, and Alma Brown, Amanda Mann, Norma and Hulda Manzelmann; also Messrs. John Brown. Dillon and William Hollenbacher, Isadore and Bernard Ruck, Walter Ruck, Harley and Roy Metz, Samuel Widiger, Albert Lunz, Urban Schumann, Edison Schumann, and Mrs. William Kantner. All left for their respective homes at a very late hour, wishing Mr. Schumann many more happy birthdays.
