Vaccine providers are scheduling appointments for shots
Auglaize County health officials point out Auglaize county was was lowered to a Level 2 (Orange) status in the Public Health Advisory System Thursday. And as local resdients contiue to be vaccination, caution is urged; residents should not let up in their efforts of practicing the Safe Ohio Protocols.
The county reported 11 new cases from noon Wednesday to noon Thursday.
The Auglaize County Vaccine Providers will be scheduling for all those eligible groups in the various Phases of Ohio’s vaccine rollout. Each Vaccine Provider will have a limited supply of the vaccine for the qualifying priority groups.
The following groups currently qualify for the COVID-19 Vaccine.
• 16 years of age and older o With parental or legal guardian consent, individuals ages 16 and 17 will be eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine, which is the only COVID-19 vaccine currently authorized for use under age 18. The Moderna and Janssen/ Johnson & Johnson vaccines are only authorized for those that are 18 years of age and older.

Regional Mass Vaccination Clinic:
Allen County Public Health will begin holding Regional Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics starting March 31st, 2021. These clinics will be held Wednesday through Saturday each week and will currently be providing the Janssen/johnson & Johnson vaccine. Anyone age 18 and older can make an appointment online using the state scheduling tool https://gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov.
Grand Lake Health System:
Grand Lake Health System encourages patients 18+ to complete the online form available via the health system website at www.grandlakehealth.org to request an appointment. To make a request by phone, please call (419) 300-1132 and leave a voicemail. Eligible patients will then be contacted by phone to schedule a vaccine appointment. If you have completed the online form or called and left a message, your information has been received, please do not complete any additional forms or leave additional messages. Please note: due to our vaccine brand allocation, we are only able to serve those 18+ at this time.
Kroger:
Kroger of St. Marys encourages their customers to visit www.kroger.com/ohiocovidvaccine or to call their COVID-19 vaccine helpline at 866211-5320 to schedule an appointment. All COVID-19 vaccines will require an appointment via www.kroger.com/ohiocovidvaccine or 866-2115320 as vaccines are available.
Auglaize County Health Department:
The Auglaize County Health Department will begin scheduling appointments for our COVID Vaccine clinics at 8:30 am on April 1st, 2021, for the week of April 5th. Scheduling will be open to those age 18 years of age and older to receive the Moderna vaccine. To schedule please call (419) 7383410 and select option 1. Lima Memorial Health System:

Schwieterman Pharmacy:
Schwieterman Pharmacy is currently offering the Janssen/ Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine at several of their locations! Vaccines are available by appointment only and masks are required.
