United Way names 2021 campaign chairs
Kim Ray, CPA with Shultz Huber & Associates, Inc. will combine forces with Chris Moynihan, director
of Education and Guest Experience at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum as they Co-chair the 2021 United Way Campaign. Both
serve on the board of directors for the Auglaize County United Way, which they both
believe gives them a unique perspective on the campaign.
Moynihan has rlived in Auglaize County most of his life. After graduating
from The Ohio State University with a M.ED., he came back to work in his community. As a volunteer, he is also an officer at the Wapakoneta Masonic Lodge and Wapakoneta Royal Arch Chapter Masons of
Ohio for the past 10 years.
“Being a board member for the past three years and active in my community for
nearly 15 years, I
know the emphasis the United Way places on growth and
support to the agencies that impact our community. I feel privileged to serve as
co-chair for the campaign and look forward to the opportunity to play a role in the continued success and impact the agencies have for the people of Auglaize County. Especially given
how difficult this past year has been, we ask you to get involved and show your
support as we are all better together,” Moynihan said.
Ray began practicing public accounting in St. Marys in 2004,
having earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and her MBA from Wright State University. She is involved in the St. Marys community,
serving as the United Way of Auglaize County treasurer and on the Finance Committee for Grand Lake Health/premier Health YMCA, as well as being an active member of the St. Marys Rotary. She is also very active in her
home community of Maria Stein in church,
school and community sports programs and activities.
“I feel like this is the right time to step up as co-chair given how hard the past year has been in the face of COVID-19 and seeing how much the need has grown for our partner agencies. I
know residents of Auglaize County always pull together to take care of each other and make sure that all needs are being
met. I look forward to seeing how we can continue to impact
our community together,” Ray said.
