JTD Foundation has leadership change

Linda Haines, Executive Director of the JTD Hospital Foundation will retire the end

of October after nearly 43 years with the Grand Lake

Health System. Julie Jacobs will then step into the Executive Director role.

Linda started as an RN with the hospital in 1979 and spent

more than 25 years of her career in Home Care and Hospice. She accepted the role of the Executive Director of the Foundation in 2013 and has led successful campaigns and

many events benefittin­g patient care and Grand Lake Hospice services. Most recently, she has worked on a

new Pediatric Rehab project, one she states she is “proud to have had a part in”. Linda

states, “We live in an area where the people in our communitie­s care about each other and want to ensure that quality health care is close to home. The new Pediatric project will certainly help provide this.” Haines continues, “my work with the Foundation has

been such a pleasure. Having the opportunit­y to meet new

people and create new relationsh­ips has been such a joy.”

Julie Jacobs will transition into her new role as Executive Director beginning November 1. Julie has worked for the Grand Lake Health System

since 2003 and has been the Volunteer Developmen­t Coordinato­r since 2013. She will

continue to have oversight of these services. Julie is from St. Marys and is married to Keith Jacobs. They have four children and are active in the

community.
