Attorney C.A. Stueve held the close attention of 600 persons Sunday evening in the auditorium of St. Joseph’s school while taking them on an imaginary tour of Europe and the Holy Land,
similar to a sojourn that he and Mrs. Stueve recently enjoyed. Mr. Stueve talked for 2 ½ hours without cessation and at the request of his audience he prolonged the address another half hour. In his description of the Holy Land, Mr. Stueve was assisted by his daughter Miss Thecla, who demonstrated the headdress worn by Mohammedan women.
It is with great pleasure that the Wapakoneta Daily News and Auglaize County Democrat announce the addition to the staff of new writer Mr. Rue Melching, until yesterday, Secretary of the City Loan and Savings Company. His official title and position will be that of City Editor and Assistant Manager. Mr. Melching is too well and favorably known to the 10,000 or more readers
of the Daily News and Democrat to need any extensive introduction at this time. Mr. Earl Fisher, who has for the last 2 ½ years splendidly rendered valuable and efficient service in the news gathering and news writing department, will leave the
service voluntarily at the end of the week to undertake an entirely new work in Lima, to which
city his parents and other members of the Fisher family have but recently moved.

being shot in the eye with a shotgun ball Thanksgiving Day, to the home of his sister, Mrs. Wilbur Bauer, 22 East Mechanic Street. The injured optic
