Graduate wants to fly the skies

-

As is our tradition, the Wapakoneta

Daily News will feature

the top Wapakoneta High

School graduates

in the days preceding graduation. This year there Cameron are nine Reichenbach students graduating Summa Cum Laude — with the highest distinction,

and we offered them the opportunity to share some information in their own words.

Today we feature Cameron Reichenbach.

Reichebach is aiming for the clouds.

My plan after graduation is to attend Kent State University to

study Aeronautics. This will help me to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a commercial pilot. I hope to either fly for a cargo company or fly for a corporation.

School days

I participated in swimming, football, Esports, National Honor Society, and Octagon Club. Participating in these sports and clubs has helped me strive to be a better person and work hard to improve at whatever I do. This helped me most in academics because it made

me balance my time so I could get my work done and compete

in my sports.

Memories

One high school memory I will carry throughout my life is getting to compete at the State

swim meet with my friends and earn two medals. It was an incredible experience like no

other that I wouldn't want to do with anyone else.

Looking back

The biggest thing I will miss from high school is participating in all of the different sports. I made a lot of friends by joining the swim team and the Esports team. I always had fun playing with my teammates

and qualifying for our first Regionals match.

Advice for students

My advice for students that will follow me is to enjoy high

school because there are many opportunities such as sports that will be harder to continue

competing in. I would also tell them to look forward to going to college because there is a

myriad of opportunities that you will get to experience there.
