⬛ The recital given at the Methodist church at St. Marys Wednesday evening by Wapakoneta’s Philharmonic Orchestra was very well attended and each number was enthusiastically received. The members of the orchestra, which

is under the direction of Miss Emma Kayser, were delighted with their reception.

⬛ The Wapakoneta Chautauqua for 1922 received impetus this week when a meeting of the directors of the Woman’s Club and then a committee of guarantors of the Chautauqua met in the club rooms to discuss details of the big show and the campaign for the sale of tickets. The members of the Woman’s Cub bound themselves to sell the 7,000 adult tickets for the event, before the guarantee or contract was

signed last winter. It was agreed that Mrs. Albert Miller will act as chairman general for the ticket sale. Mrs. Miller has had a great deal

of experience in handling drives of all sorts in Wapakoneta and her ability in putting the drive across is unquestioned.
