Redskins, Trojans and Tigers compete at track districts
FINDLAY — The Redskin track and field team is sending
six members of the team to districts at Findlay this Wednesday and Friday.
Nikane Ambos and Jackson Courter were the lone individuals to
qualify along with the girl’s 4x400m relay team. Ambos finished
second in the 300m hurdles with a time of 47.18. Courter finished fourth in the high
jump with a leap of 5’10”. The girls 4x400m team finished third with a time of 4:14.11.

Botkins
St. PARIS — Botkins track and field advanced to regionals in
eight more events after Saturday’s day two event at Graham High
School. The Trojans are sending members to participate in 12
events including two members participating in the same event.
Both Brittany Arnold and Alaina Mann qualified for regionals after finishing third and fourth in the girl’s 3200m run. Arnold finished with a 12:09.12 and Mann finished
at 12:24.92. The girls 4x200m relay
team finished fourth with a time of 1:52.38
qualified. Camdyn Paul finished fourth in the long jump qualifying with a distance of 15’0.5”. Sophia Bajwa finished third in pole vault with a 9’. Aleah Johnson finished second in discus with a throw of 123’7”,
she also qualified for shot put after finishing first on Tuesday.
Carter Pleiman finished second in the
800m run with a time of 2:03.75 qualifying for regionals. Keaton
Schnippel qualified after finishing fourth
in the 1600m run (4:41.79).
The 4x400m relay team also qualified with a time of 3:37.41, good enough for fourth place.
All qualifiers will participate at Troy Wednesday and Friday.

SPENCERVILLE — The Tiger track team
participated in the division III track districts at Spencerville. Two members of the team advanced to participate in regionals at
Troy this Wednesday and Friday.
Taylor Spencer qualified for the Tigers in the 800m run with a time of 2:22.62, finishing
in fourth place. Cole Steinke also qualified after finishing fourth in the 300m
hurdles with a time of 42.52.
