Community Foundation scholarshi­ps announced

The Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation is pleased to announce the scholarshi­p recipients for 2022-23. A total of 137 scholarshi­ps were awarded totaling $211,000 in scholarshi­p funding. Individual scholarshi­ps range from $500 to $10,000 with an average amount of $1,540. Wapakoneta High School graduates received 126 scholarshi­ps—89 to the Class of 2022 and 37 were renewal scholarshi­ps to former WHS students now in college. Eleven scholarshi­ps were awarded to students in other regional high schools. A complete list of recipients for each of the scholarshi­ps is listed below. The 43 scholarshi­p funds are in the order in which they were establishe­d— the first in 1990 and the three most recent in 2021.
