Community Foundation scholarships announced
The Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation is pleased to announce the scholarship recipients for 2022-23. A total of 137 scholarships were awarded totaling $211,000 in scholarship funding. Individual scholarships range from $500 to $10,000 with an average amount of $1,540. Wapakoneta High School graduates received 126 scholarships—89 to the Class of 2022 and 37 were renewal scholarships to former WHS students now in college. Eleven scholarships were awarded to students in other regional high schools. A complete list of recipients for each of the scholarships is listed below. The 43 scholarship funds are in the order in which they were established— the first in 1990 and the three most recent in 2021.
