50 YEARS AGO, JUNE 10. 1972

David R. Howe, son of MM Roger Howe, will receive a BA degree in business administration and a minor in Architecture at Ohio University today. Davie is a 1966 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High and spent 19 months in the US Army, 11 months of which were in Vietnam. He will be employed in the office of Koneta Rubber Co., Inc., as industrial engineer. He is married to the former Sue Stroh, daughter o MM Harold Stroh, and they live at RFD 1, Wapakoneta.

Mike Shoffstall, son of MM Curtiss Shoffstall, RR 3, is one of six high school graduates to receive scholarship awards from Superior Tube Company as outstanding students. He has won six art awards in school and was entered in the Lima invitational math contest. He was a member of the school newspaper staff and covers athletic events for the Wapakoneta Daily News. His scholarship is $600 for each of four years. He will attend Ohio University.
