ODOT shares area construction project updates
SIDNEY – The following construction projects are anticipated to affect state highways in Auglaize County next week. All outlined work is weather permitting. Visit the ODOT website and OHGO.COM for travel updates.
State Route 66 Maintenance - Expect road restrictions at the intersection of SR 66 and St. Marys-kossuth Road through Friday, Sept. 30 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Crews will be working on a culvert project. Traffic will be maintained by a flagging operation. State Route 66 Bridge Repairs - SR 66 will close, between Barber- Werner Road and SR 197, on Monday, June 13 through Sunday, July 3. Crews will be performing bridge repairs. The detour is SR 29 to SR116 to SR 197 to SR 66 State Route 116 Maintenance – Expect lane closures on SR 116 between Defiance Street to SR 197 through Friday, Sept. 20 from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Crews will be performing chip sealing. Traffic will be maintained with a flagger in the work zone.
State Route 116 Paving Operation – Expect lane closures on SR 116 between SR 197 to SR 117, on Monday, June 20 through Friday, July 15 from 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Crews will be performing a paving operation. Traffic will be maintained with a flagger in the work zone.
State Route 116 Resurfacing – S.R. 116 will close between SR 197 to SR 117 (Auglaize-allen County Line), on Thursday, June 16 through Wednesday, July 22.
Crews will be resurfacing SR 116. Sections of the road will close during daylight hours but will not close during the weekend. Flaggers will be in the work zone directing traffic.
State Route 198 Bridge Repairs - Expect shoulder closures on SR 198, in each direction, between Auglaize Street and Harrison Street, through Thursday, August 11, from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Crews will be performing bridge patching. Traffic will be maintained.
State Route 219 Paving Operation - Expect road restrictions on SR 219 (County Road 25A), in each direction, between the Auglaize/ Shelby County Line and Hardin Pike Road, on Monday, June 20 through Friday, July 15 from 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Crews will be performing a paving operation. Traffic will be maintained by a flagging operation.
