Phyllis J. Wagner age 82, of Cridersvil­le passed away 6:28 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Lima Memorial. She was born Oct. 7, 1940 in Wapakoneta to the late Charles J. and Sara ‘Sally’ (Wheeler) Walter, Sr. She married Richard A. Wagner Nov. 28, 1963 and he preceded her in death June 11, 2013.

Phyllis attended St. John’s Parish in Fryburg and St. Anthony’s Parish in Mackinaw City. She had been very active with the Women’s Ministries at St. Anthony’s. She was a member of the Paradise Lake Associatio­n, the Wapak Eagles Auxiliary and an avid OSU Fan. She loved to quilt and was a member of the West Central Ohio Quilters and Sew Blessed Quilters in Cridersvil­le. She was also a member of Beta Omega Sorority.

Survivors include children: Sara (Allen) Eversman of Wapak, Randy (Joni) Wagner of Loveland; grandchild­ren: Jacob Miller, Zachary (Jaycie Welch) Miller, Danielle Miller, Arthur Eversman all of Wapak, Taylor Wagner and Andrew Wagner both of Loveland; great grandchild­ren: Conor, Lily and Lexi Dunlap and Rowan Meilor; siblings: Nancy (Ed) Merril, Kay Manger, Beth (Richard) Maki all of Wapak, David (June) Walter of Fryburg and a sister-inlaw Linda Walter of Wapak and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Joe Walter and brother-inlaw Paul Manger.

The family will receive friends Monday, Jan. 23rd from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersvil­le. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Fryburg with Father Sean Wilson officiatin­g. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Fryburg.
