New quarters are to be provided for the Sisters of the Precious Blood, teachers in the St. Joseph parochial school, according to an agreement reached by the officers and wardens of the St. Catholic congregation, who entered into contract with R.B. Wahrer for the purchase of the old Frank Mcfarland residence on Main street, near Park. The big ten room dwelling, which stands on the proposed location of Mr. Wahrer’s new garage to be erected this summer, will be moved to the vacant lots at the corner of Perry and Benton streets, at the rear of the St. Joseph church. Two rooms will be added to the structure, the 12-room bouse providing a home for the sisters. The home now used by the sisters has become too small for convenient accommodation and with probable additions to the teaching force in the future, a larger building will be required. The old building will be used by the n for the property of the catholic congregation. The Mcfarland property must be moved within six weeks.
