Henry Michael Moser III, 87

The Honorable Henry Michael Moser III passed away in Lakeland Florida on February 14th, 2023. He was born on January 22, 1936. “Mike” spent most of his profession­al life serving his country. After graduating from The Ohio State University where he took part in Naval ROTC, he served as an officer in the US Navy for 2 years, attaining the rank of Second Lieutenant and serving aboard several ships. After the Navy, he earned his JD degree from Ohio Northern University and served the Wapakoneta community for the rest of his profession­al life in private legal practice, as city solicitor, as prosecutin­g attorney, and finally as the Judge of Juvenile and Probate courts. He retired from the bench in 1994 and was fortunate to spend the rest of his years living his ideal retirement in Lakeland Florida surrounded by family.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Linda (Hereld) Moser of Lakeland Florida; Son and daughter-in-law Brent and Kimberly Moser of Lakeland FL; Son and daughter-in-law Barrett and Shelley Moser of

Whitehouse Ohio, stepdaught­er and son-in-law Heather (Schey) and Ola Landgren of Miami Florida, and grandchild­ren Jessica, Abby, Ashley, and Seth Moser, and step grandchild Magnus Landgren. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Florence Moser, and his sister Jann Moser.

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Saturday, March 11, at Eley Funeral Home & Crematory in Wapakoneta. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
