Penny Jo Morgan
Penny Jo Morgan, 60, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away March 4, 2016, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville surrounded by family and friends. She was born Dec. 22, 1955, in Springdale, Ark., to Elias Noble and Maxine Champlin, Jr.
She graduated from Farmington High School in 1974, Northwest Vocational Technical School in 1977 with her LPN of Nursing, and an EMT with CPR Instructor in 1990. She was a school nurse with Fayetteville Public Schools for 23 years retiring in 2012. She also was a volunteer with the Wedington Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Preceptor Beta Lambda Chapter.
She was preceded in death by her in-laws, Hoot and Phyllis Morgan.
She is survived by her husband Gary, of Fayetteville; daughter, Jessica and her husband Larry Blasingame of Alma, Ark.; and her parents, Lloyd and Maxine Carney of Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at Sequoyah United Methodist Church in Fayetteville under the direction of the Rev. Sara Pair and Moore’s Chapel. Interment will be at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Wedington Volunteer Fire Department 13496 W. Highway 16, Fayetteville, AR 72704 and Sequoyah United Methodist Church 1910 N. Old Wire Rd., Fayetteville, AR 72703.
