Troy Jesse Curtsinger, 77, of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Feb. 29, 2016, at his home. He was born Sept. 10, 1938, in Aberdeen, Wash., the son of Henry Jef­fer­son and Nona Mae Nash Curtsinger.

When he was around two years old his fam­ily moved to Prairie Grove where he at­tended school. In 1961 he mar­ried his high school sweet­heart, Mar­garet Bate­man. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a re­tired auto en­thu­si­ast who en­joyed show­ing an­tique cars. Af­ter his chil­dren were grown he and Mar­garet trav­eled the U.S. and Canada with the ISCA and Su­per Chevy Car As­so­ci­a­tions for 10 years. He was a mas­ter crafts­man who could cre­ate, build or re­pair any­thing. Over the years he was very ac­tive in the Boy Scouts of Amer­ica, built many houses around town, made tooled leather items, cus­tom­ized many cars and at­tended any sport­ing events that his chil­dren or grand­chil­dren were in­volved in.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents and his wife Mar­garet Curtsinger.

He is sur­vived by three sons, Bar­rett Curtsinger and wife Gwen, Scott Curtsinger and wife LaDonna and John Curtsinger and wife Tonya all of Prairie Grove; one daugh­ter, Kandy Curtsinger of Prairie Grove; 10 grand­chil­dren, Ryan, Jar­rett, Shanda, Brandie, Brit­ton, Ethan, Alexa, Dal­ton, Carly and Cameryn; 10 great- grand­chil­dren; and one brother, Wil­liam “Bill” Curtsinger and wife Erma of Golden City, Mo.

Fu­neral ser­vice was held at 2 p.m. Fri­day, March 4, 2016, at Lug­in­buel Chapel. Burial was in the Prairie Grove Ceme­tery and there were no grave­side ser­vices.

Pall­bear­ers were: Ryan Cook, Ethan Curtsinger, Jar­rett Curtsinger, Bar­rett Cu r ts inge r, Da l ton Curtsinger, John Curtsinger, and Scott Curtsinger.
