Troy Jesse Curtsinger, 77, of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Feb. 29, 2016, at his home. He was born Sept. 10, 1938, in Aberdeen, Wash., the son of Henry Jefferson and Nona Mae Nash Curtsinger.

When he was around two years old his family moved to Prairie Grove where he attended school. In 1961 he married his high school sweetheart, Margaret Bateman. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a retired auto enthusiast who enjoyed showing antique cars. After his children were grown he and Margaret traveled the U.S. and Canada with the ISCA and Super Chevy Car Associatio­ns for 10 years. He was a master craftsman who could create, build or repair anything. Over the years he was very active in the Boy Scouts of America, built many houses around town, made tooled leather items, customized many cars and attended any sporting events that his children or grandchild­ren were involved in.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Margaret Curtsinger.

He is survived by three sons, Barrett Curtsinger and wife Gwen, Scott Curtsinger and wife LaDonna and John Curtsinger and wife Tonya all of Prairie Grove; one daughter, Kandy Curtsinger of Prairie Grove; 10 grandchild­ren, Ryan, Jarrett, Shanda, Brandie, Britton, Ethan, Alexa, Dalton, Carly and Cameryn; 10 great- grandchild­ren; and one brother, William “Bill” Curtsinger and wife Erma of Golden City, Mo.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, at Luginbuel Chapel. Burial was in the Prairie Grove Cemetery and there were no graveside services.

Pallbearer­s were: Ryan Cook, Ethan Curtsinger, Jarrett Curtsinger, Barrett Cu r ts inge r, Da l ton Curtsinger, John Curtsinger, and Scott Curtsinger.
